The Flag of Living Stars
Teacher and musician Frances Key, a descendant of Frances Scott Key, presented her Global Flag Song (Flag of Living Stars) at the DC Peace Mural exhibition. The song, put to video, is part of her musical The Mountain of Peace which was presented on several occasions during the Exhibition. The Global Flag Anthem is a fitting tribute to her ancestor, Francis Scott Key, author of the Star Spangled Banner, whose name is memorialized on a Washington DC park and bridge that adjoined the site of the DC Peace Mural exposition in Georgetown. Frances' version of the national anthem broadens the vision of an American Flag that heralds the one universal banner that waves equally above all the Earth. It is an Anthem which all the people of the world can share in common.
