Hector Aristizabal will perform his original piece “Nightwind,” a one-man show based on his experience of being arrested and tortured in Colombia. A native of Colombia forced to leave his country because of death threats, Aristizabal is an actor and human rights activist who runs ImaginAction, a Theater of the Oppressed- based theater company. He travels throughout the world doing performances and workshops using Theater of the Oppressed techniques designed to engage in difficult dialogue and promote human rights.
