The DC Peace Mural Exhibition hosts a concert with Danni Rosner. With a voice fueled by observation and fused to the feelings of the heart comes the music of this exceptional singer and songwriter. The performance opens at 7:30 PM; Cover Donation: $15
The music experience is alternative pop in flavor with selections from the artists’ newly-released EP, “The Worst Part is Waiting,” peppered with modern rock covers drizzled with a twist of the blues. It’s simple to say the Danni Rosner sound tells it like it is without being overt. Her introspective lyrical notions bring together hopefulness with the soulful recall of an artist aware of more than her age relays. Danni’s passion for singing stems from her heart and her revealing lyrics allow listeners to take up shop in her head.
It’s an entertaining place to be. When asked of her influences, she recants an endless list, but assures future fans the appeal of her music is evident when inspiration ranges from Chris Cornell, The Beatles and Bush to Regina Spektor, Sara Bareilles and Diana Ross and meets up with Joss Stone, Kelly Clarkson, Michelle Branch and Tracy Bonham.
The singer is quickly stepping into the DC music scene, booking gigs throughout the city. Visit www.dannirosner.com to learn more.
